Tip: Of yourse you might as well find suitable media with keywords. Try 'heart', 'love', 'rose' or 'sunset'. There are no limits to your ideas.
It would be best if you combine Catooh media with your own video or photo material, to make your message even more personal.
Create your own love message – with just a few steps Before you buy media, you should start MAGIX Movie Edit pro and connect to catooh.com. This way, you will have direct access on your downloads from out of the program.
Place the videos and pictures on a track and make up a basic dramaturgy for your movie. You should pick a soundtrack first, before you start working with fades and titles, so you can adjust screen changes and titles to the music.
Tip: You can find matching music in the Romantic Collection or in the remaining Catooh audio content. Step1: Arrangement Place your song of choice beneath the video track. Adjust it by cutting it with the 'split scene' button or push the audio track together with the mouse, to use only special passages. If your video is shorter than the soundtrack, you can fade it in or out by moving the small box at the end or beginning of the track with the mouse.
Tip: If there already are audio tracks belonging to your video material that you do not want to use, you can easily remove them. Just click on the respective scene. The corresponding audio track will be marked automatically. Then click on the chain symbol to ungroup the tracks. Afterwards you can delete the unwanted audio track.
Step2: Transitions and Effects Now you can start to connect the single scenes with fades to create a smooth transition. MAGIX Movie Edit pro offers you plenty different fade effects. Just click on 'fades' next to the import menu. You can watch a preview of any effect by clicking on it once.
If you chose a fade, you can drag it onto the passage between two scenes or pictures. The fade will automatically be applied. Adjust it to the soundtrack by moving it into the right position.
Tip: You can use multiple fades one after another. You just have to take care they do not overlap. Otherwise the last chosen fade will be applied.
Following, you only have to overlay the movie with your love message. Open 'title', right next to the fades menu.
If you chose a title, you can drag it into a track and place it at the right position in your video.
Step3: Message The 'titel editor' will open automatically. Here you can change the font, the font size, the positioning in the frame and a whole lot more. When you place your titles, take into account the background music, to make sure you do not interrupt the flow of the movie.
If you are satisfied with your movie, you only have to burn it on DVD or export it. Click on 'burn' in the top middle of the screen. You will automatically be forwarded to the create-DVD menu where you can choose a matching DVD menu before you burn the movie.
Alternatively you can click on 'file' and 'export movie', to save it on your hard disk.
After that, you will be ready to surprise your beloved with a special and individual Valentine's Day present.
