Kortwich Filmsounds
Our artist of the month usually has to deal with microphones, cables and other sound equipment. It is the Kortwich Film-Ton-Technik company that stands behind the provider Kortwich Filmsounds – a long-established company from Berlin-Charlottenburg that has attended the sound of many different film productions of the last decades.
Gunther Kortwich, the founder of the company, who was born in 1928, retired a few years ago, but the Kortwich Film-Ton-Technik company is still as active as it has always been.

Doug Laurent
Well known producer, DJ and remix artist Doug Laurent started his career back in 1985.

The variety of different styles he stands for, ranges from Ambient to Techno Trance as well as Hip Hop to Rock music. He created hit single productions for Culture Beat („Inside out“, „Mr. Vain recall“), La Bouche, Alphaville and Yello.

Doug also teamed up for collaborations with Boney M., Panjabi Mc, Snap!, Barthezz, Kim Sanders and many others. At his residence containig 10 studios he attends a worldwide network of over 50 musicians.

The resulting musical diversity originates an exciting range of songs. We are very proud to have Doug as one of our earliest contributors.
